Carolina Ethics Line

Carolina Ethics Line is the anonymous reporting and inquiry hotline used by The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Carolina Ethics Line provides a simple, anonymous way to report possible unethical or improper conduct, and/or violations of University policies and procedures, regulations, or state and federal laws.

One Card

Learn more about how to get your UNC One Card. Your One Card is a multipurpose identification card that also serves as a card for building access, copy and print services, library access, and access to campus events.


Payroll Schedules

Employees can access biweekly or monthly pay calendar information by choosing the applicable employee type and year on the Payroll website. There is also a new Outlook Calendar available that will display the University’s HR/payroll processes and deadlines.


Safety & Security

Campus Safety at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill provide all law enforcement services to the University campus. The department currently employs 53 full-time armed Police Officers. The department provides patrol services to the campus and University-owned properties 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. University Police are governed by N.C. General Statute 116-40.5 that gives University Police officers the same authority as municipal police officers.

Carolina Ready

The Carolina Ready app provides students, faculty and staff with a direct connection to UNC Police so that everyone can easily communicate all their safety needs. Its easy-to-use features help you stay safe every day and enable us to better protect you.

The Well

The Well is Carolina’s news and information source for faculty and staff. Employees can read the day’s top stories, learn more about projects in schools, units and departments, and see how Carolina’s employees work to uphold the University mission of research, teaching and service. The site also features In the Know, important pieces of information employees need to know each day, such as road closures, benefits enrollment deadlines or weather-related issues. Employees will also receive an email news digest called From The Well.
